Construction of electricity supply of the ski area in Bansko, including: design, performance, supply and assembly of 25 items MCTS with a total installed power of more than 30 MW, part of which are mounted at 2600 m the above sea level in the Pirin mountain with the assistance of a helicopter.
Electricity supply of the Ski area in Bansko
The electricity supply of the ski area in Bansko is a project consisting of design, production, delivery and assembly of 25 Metal Complete Transformer Stations /MCTS/ with installed power of more than 30 MW, performed by a team of experts from the Electrogetz company. The transformer stations are specially designed and manufactured for reliable and secure operation under the heavy climate conditions of this region. Part of the project is the construction of part of the cable supplies to them, too /20 kV and 0.4 kV/.
For already 12 years, we have been performing all year round maintenance of these facilities in Bansko. We are using a new computer method for remote reading and monitoring of the MCTS thanks to which the parameters of the network are monitored, together with the loads on the power transformers, the presence and the localization of faults and remote control of part of the devices.
A big part of the hotel complexes in Bansko have trusted us as well – we have assembled more than 15 transformer stations for electricity supply at hotels such as: Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko; Grand hotel Bansko; Hotels Winslow; Regnum Bansko Apart Hotel and SPA; Hotel "St. Ivan Rilski" etc.
